Björn Olsson Jarl
Software Developer 

Björn Olsson Jarl has been working as a Software Developer at IST for 1,5 years. He has a bachelor’s degree in Software Technology, and today he also works as a team leader within the company.

 “I did some programming in Pascal back in the days, when I was around 11-12 years old. It lasted only 2 years, then I changed my focus to music for some years instead. In university I decided to give programming a new try, since I like both logical thinking and computers. After the first programming course I got hooked again and now I cannot stop myself from writing code - both at work and at home.”

To work as a Software Developer at IST 

The fact that he gets to work with both technology and people, and the mix of solving both simple and complex tasks, are what Björn like most about his job. To work with software that makes other peoples job easier and more fun is for Björn a great feeling.

“At IST I can improve myself both as a developer and team leader. There is room for creativity, and I get to do something good for society. I want to get even better at coaching my team and inspire them to be creative”, says Björn.
