About the role:

Let’s be honest, you’ve read it a thousand times before. The job ad, promising smart tech, innovation, AI and machine learning, next-gen whatchamacallits, milk and honey, the moon and so on. And yes, we’ve been there ourselves. But this time… it’s different. Really. 

We have started a new unit within our Products department, called Tech & Innovation. As of today it consists of a CTO, two architects… and soon you? We need someone to join our team and turn this terrific trio into a fantastic four.

Our team has two main focuses, technology strategy and innovation work. We are all about driving, encouraging and accelerating innovative work both internally and with partners and customers. 

You’ll be charged with development of proof of concepts and integration work. The primary goal is to see if an idea is worth pursuing and showcasing and increasing the value of our existing products. It’s about experimenting with our internal development organization, partners and customers to try to find new ways of doing things better. We are looking for someone who is curious and want to try out new ideas and technologies, who isn’t afraid making mistakes and learning from them.

 

About you:

Your coding skills are obviously sharp, that goes without saying. You have quite a few years of experience under your belt, especially within app development and integration/API work. But you also possess the gift of the gab, and are not afraid of talking to stakeholders of different sorts, for instance colleagues, customers or potential partners. It’s the balance between these two tasks that makes you tick: grinding down and focusing in the code when needed, but also raising your sight and looking at the bigger picture from time to time. 

A few must-haves:

  • Positive, curious and pragmatic mindset that sees hurdles as a challenge and not a hindrance
  • Experience in working with APIs and web authentication mechanisms, like REST, GraphQL and OAuth/OIDC
  • Experience with scripting languages like python or javascript
  • Experience working with customers, for instance as a consultant or in sales
  • Experience as team leader as well as system or enterprise architecture are positive 

This is not “another developer role”, this is something else and something more. If you want to learn more (that’s more or less what our business is about, we’ll tell you when you get here), you know what to do. The role is situated at our HQ in Växjö, where you can enjoy the tastiest and most affordable lunch in Växjö on a daily basis (as soon as this Covid 19 situation is out of the way), you get to work with colleagues eager to make something of importance to society, and all the other perks that you’d expect.
