I have been working with IST’s solutions for schools since 1995, and have walked the road together with IST from the old “IST Skola” via Extens to School Administration as a part of IST applications. When starting at IST, I had been a School Inspector at a High School for 15 years, mostly working with unit curriculum, employment’s assignments and timetable. As a user of gpUntis, I was invited to a course to learn more about timetabling the year IST established an office in Norway. IST Norway then had only on employee, he called me a few days later, asked if I would help him to introduce “IST Skola” to the Norwegian market. My fate was sealed.

Why do I make a good Regional Product Manager:
I know the schools, the rules made by school authorities, and I know much about the schools ways of working. I also know that the methods differs even though the rules do not. I believe in cooperation, and listening to customers. All customers should know they are important.

What is the best thing about working at IST:
IST is not only a job, but a part of my life. I feel IST and my colleagues care about me. IST gives me challenges and confidence in my work. I like it here.

If I didn’t work at IST – what would I do:
I would probably still have been part of a management team in a high school

What is the most important mission for IST:
To always be the school’s first choice when talking about collaborator when it comes to daily activities in school, as well as planning the schools future.
Every time a school person meets a challenge, he should think “IST can help me”

Something most people don’t know about me:
I am educated kindergarden teacher, and had absolutely no plans to work either with school or data.
